If you are traveling from San Jose to Arenal this is the best tour/shuttle you could take. This rafting trip is operated by Exploradores Outdoors and it's a fun way to travel including breakfast, lunch, 4 hour class III & IV rafting and transportation between Arenal, San Jose and the Caribbean side (Cahuita or Puerto Viejo).
How does it work?
Vans leave early in the morning from San Jose, Arenal and the Caribbean side (Cahuita or Puerto Viejo) and meet at the Exploradores Exploration Center in Siquirres. The exploration center is the base operation center where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast and change for the next 4 hour rafting trip. All luggage is stored in the safe lockers and are 100% safe while you enjoy the tour. The trip start with a safety talk where guides explain the basics of white water rafting including you how to paddle and how to understand the guides commands. Afterwards, you will start the journey through the most scenic river in Costar Rica, with waterfalls falling on the river and a great landscape. Half way through the trip guides "park" the rafts and start preparing lunch on the river side! The guides will prepare an amazing lunch. After lunch you will raft for 30 more minutes and head to the exploration center where you can shower and get ready to ride a van to your next destination ( Arenal, Caribbean Side or San José)
